You’re Driving Consumers Back to the Storefront… Now What?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

A lot of money, time and effort has been invested to allow traditional brick and mortar storefronts to evolve and play in an increasingly e-commerce and omni-commerce focused world. Whether traditional online marketplaces such as Amazon, or new investments made by brick-and-mortar stalwarts, like Macy’s, there seems to be an increased vigor to drive consumers back to the storefront, including in-store savings options, Amazon Go and many more. There is good reason for this, with analysis finding that in-store purchases have increased ticket size and conversion rates. While driving consumers in store is surely a challenge in itself, elevating the retail experience to match that offered online is another proposition. This discussion will examine this evolving narrative and explore what businesses should be doing to capitalize on in-store foot traffic.
