Debate: Will Blockchain Replace Today's Payments Platforms?

One of the most debated new payments technologies is blockchain. In this Oxford-style debate, two respected industry practitioners will argue for and against the case that blockchain will replace today’s payments platforms. Ripple will argue in favor of blockchain’s merits, citing the design of distributed ledger technology as superior to legacy architectures. FIS will defend the industry’s current approach, noting its scale, security, broad adoption and efficiency. The session will begin and conclude with a poll to gauge the audience’s opinion. Yea or Nay? Which do you believe?
