Beth Horowitz Steel is a transformational business leader who passionately pursues innovation and change. She has developed new products, created successful partnerships and driven technology and marketing innovation throughout her career. She is a self-professed B2B2C product marketer that believes practical business solutions that solve real consumer needs are where true innovation lives.

Before joining Glenbrook, Beth led Global Marketing Solutions for Discover Financial Services and served as a member of the company’s management committee. Charged with creating and delivering a “different kind of payments network”, her team designed innovative global marketing campaigns for portfolio growth and created regional “go-to-market” strategies to introduce new payment technologies and products, such as mobile and contact/contactless chip payments.

Prior to Discover, Beth developed a range of successful products and programs at MasterCard International across a variety of areas and markets: Global T&E Cards, Cobranded Partnerships and one of the world’s first Chip Card Programs in Australia. As Senior Vice President of Advanced Payments, Beth went on to help develop, manage the go-to-market pilot and implement MasterCard PayPass, and build the company’s early stage Global Innovation Practice. Beth’s focus on developing new platforms and business model improvements fueled bottom line revenue growth for companies she worked for and now enjoys bringing that expertise to her consulting engagements.

At Glenbrook, Beth dives into the card ecosystem with issuers, processors and acquiring entities, as well as with partners and providers developing solutions for new ways to pay, emerging technologies and business model innovation.
