Jamie is an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced executive that enjoys working from initial concept to fully developed initiatives launched to market. Jamie’s professional experience spans several disciplines, including product & business strategy, new business development, finance management, product management & development, marketing, sales readiness, and customer engagement. Jamie joined the Walmart Corporate Treasury team in 2010 focusing on consumer electronic payment strategy and services. In this role Jamie leads the company’s efforts in emerging payments, managing areas such as mobile and eCommerce payments, growing and expanding the digital nature of the company’s global gift card program, extending electronic government benefits to new retail channels, and enabling services for Walmart associates such as the Walmart Paycard for electronic pay disbursement. Jamie has driven and supported several strategic initiatives for Walmart, including the company’s efforts with mobile payment applications such as Walmart Pay and Sam’s Scan & Go. Jamie is a board member of the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), and has held board positions of the Merchant Risk Council (MRC) and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Council. Jamie is also an active member of the Boston and Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank Mobile Payments Industry Roundtable. Prior to joining Walmart, Jamie held leadership positions in strategy, operations, technology, innovation and product management across multiple industries with companies that include First Data Corporation, Ford Motor Company and Honda Automotive ventures. Jamie holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, in addition to Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering also from the University of Michigan. Jamie resides in Bentonville, Arkansas with his wife and two sons. Jamie is active in the community, having served as a president of a local school board, and coaching several youth athletic teams.
