Jim leads Enterprise Financial Crimes Operations. Jim has over 29 years experience in the financial services industry, with 19 years of this time at USAA. During his time at USAA, Jim has served as a Check Processing Mgr, Research & Adjustments Mgr, a Fidelity System Liaison, an IT Programmer/Analyst (Vendor Technology Mgr), Bank Operations Mgr (Settlement and Exceptions), Business Rules Analyst, Financial Ops Mgr, and Director of Fraud Detection. Jim participates in various working groups for financial crimes mitigation such as the Auriemma Fraud Consulting Group, the Early Warning Services Liability Risk Advisory Committee, and he chairs the BITS Financial Services Roundtable Fraud Steering Committee. Jim has a B.S in Occupational Education, a M.Ed. in Elementary Education, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is married to his beautiful wife Debra and they have three children: Lindsey, Ryan, and Kylie.
